Update and apologia
Things have been a little quiet around here, haven’t they?
Don’t worry, I haven’t quit – in fact, I’m gearing up to post even more often than before. But before I can rest my entire focus on this blog, I need to take care of one little point of business: my Ph.D. dissertation.
That’s right, this 250-page monolith of literature and physics isn’t going to finish itself, and I’ve decided that I need to direct 100% of my effort into putting it to bed so I can move onto other interests and career goals… like this blog, for example.
I hope to squeak out one more entry on Cameroon in the coming weeks before going into stasis for the rest of the summer. I will be back in the fall once I have deposited my final draft to my committee and have a defense date selected.
In the meantime, please catch up on my past entries and comment away! I love to hear your thoughts, gripes and occasional insults And be sure to check out my recent article, with Anne Noyes Saini of CitySpoonful, on love, immigration and FOOD, which was featured on Narratively!
